Shortly after, she began working as a crisis therapist and gained experience working with individuals, families, schools, police departments, hospitals and the judicial system. Ainsley has worked with children, adolescents and adults and now primarily focuses on older adolescents and adults in private practice.
Ainsley specializes in working with individuals who have struggled with depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, behavior issues, anger management and self-harm/suicidal ideation. She has also begun treating individuals who are working to overcome an eating disorder (age 14 and older), managing chronic pain and experiencing spiritual crisis. She believes there is a strong mind/body connection and utilizes relaxation techniques, mindfulness and CBT skills.
I love spending time with my family. We watch movies, tease each other and have a lot of fun no matter what we are doing. I also love to work out, practice yoga, and try new recipes. I’m looking forward to putting in a new garden next spring and plan to crochet to get through the winter!
Ainsley accepts self pay and clergy-assisted payment, along with the following insurances: • Blue Cross Blue Shield • DMBA out of network • EMI • Health Utah • PEHP
I believe that people are capable of overcoming the challenges in life when they have support from a therapist who draws from their core values and strengths. Empowering others to identify the obstacles they are facing and watching the process of awareness and improvement has been a rewarding and humbling experience for me.
