Jeri received her Bachelor of Social Work from Weber State University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. She has sixteen years of experience in medical social work, working directly with chronic and acute illness patients and in support groups. For the past thirteen years, she has been a clinical therapist.
Jeri works with male and female clients age twenty-five and older. She specializes in chronic and acute illness (including cancer, liver and kidney failure, diabetes, and transplant patients pre- and post-surgery). Jeri also works extensively with life transitions and adjustments (esp. divorce), trauma (including abuse and domestic violence), aging, addiction recovery (including spouse of an addict), grief and loss. Jeri loves to integrate artistic therapeutic techniques in working with her clients, and is currently working on certification as an art therapist. She enjoys working with clients with depression, anxiety and stress. Jeri also enjoys working with couples.
Jeri is interested in art, music and photography. She loves to hike, travel and ballroom dance. When she finds time to, she also enjoys writing.

My approach to therapy is client centered and solution focused. I help my clients reduce stress within the mind and body through Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
