Kelsey enjoys working with adult clients, and teenagers 12 and up who have experienced traumatic events. She especially loves working with couples. She has experience with issues such as trauma, self-harm, self-esteem, and sexual health. She specializes in supporting individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, mood issues, domestic violence, sexual issues, and those who need another perspective or additional insight into difficult life events.

Kelsey has worked as a medical social worker and adoption social worker, as well as being a therapist in the mental health and substance abuse fields. She has had over eight years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She is currently working on becoming certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

I love traveling, learning about other cultures, cooking, reading a good book, hate eating at chain restaurants, am a self proclaimed TV junkie, and I love spending time with family and friends. I am also a big fan of Taylor Swift, as her song lyrics resonates with my teenage self and possibly my current self.

Kelsey accepts self pay and clergy-assisted payment, along with the following insurances:

• Altius
• Blue Cross Blue Shield
• DMBA out of network
• EMI
• PEHP

Philosophy

Life can be hard, but it should be full of happiness along the way. I want to help those who are in need of some extra support, help, and guidance to find their way again and have joy and happiness in their lives. I enjoy learning and growing with those I help, as they are the true experts of their lives. I work with adolescents, adults and families to help them heal and utilize their strengths to help find solutions to their dilemmas.

I enjoy using solution focused, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness approaches in my practice. I believe that people have what it takes to help heal their lives and be happy but sometimes they may need extra help and support through this journey.
