She then went on to work at a private PACT program, Prakash and Ellenhorn (Arlington, MA), where she provided holistic behavioral care to clients, specifically helping them to improve their functioning and return to work, relationships and socializing. Molly spent over two years working for LDS Family Services (Cambridge, MA) where she counseled adolescents, couples and individuals struggling with spiritual issues, pornography and sexual addiction, interpersonal conflicts, grief and life transitions before she came to Aspire to start her own private practice.
Molly enjoys working with a wide age group, ranging from adolescents (ages 12+) to the elderly. Molly has provided therapy to a diverse clientele. Molly specializes in mood disorders and depression, anxiety disorders, behavioral disorders, self-esteem issues, marital conflict, PTSD and trauma, anger management, impulse control, schizophrenia and delusional disorders, personality disorders, suicidal ideation and self-harm. Molly also works with individuals struggling with spiritual issues.
There are many things I like to do, but a few of them are cooking, reading (particularly sci-fi and fantasy - nerdy is trendy nowadays, right?) and spending time with family and friends. I started running a few years back and have found that, after three years, I’m just now starting to enjoy it. As many things in life, the reward comes after hard sacrifice! I temper my love of exercise with my love of good food. Balance is important in all things.
My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my two beautiful children and my husband. They help center me and bring more meaning to my life. Having a good support network is essential!
Molly accepts self pay and clergy-assisted payment, along with the following insurances: • Aetna • Blue Cross Blue Shield • DMBA out of network • PEHP • Select Health (Care, Choice, Med plans)
I believe that every individual has the strength to make difficult changes and improve their lives. Life is a struggle for everyone at times, and having someone to help us through it is essential. I enjoy my work immensely. I love the relationships I develop with my clients and how I am able to empower them to accomplish their goals. I have seen that working on changing behavior and increasing self-awareness is essential to personal growth and that is what I strive to do with each client.
